Katie Shelgren

Katie Shelgren, PHR has a diverse work experience in human resources. Katie most recently worked at Orthofix as the Senior Director of Human Resources Business Partners. In this role, they are responsible for developing and executing human resources strategies and initiatives. Katie also served as a key member of the Management Team in formulating HR policies and talent strategies. Prior to this, they worked at Orthofix as the Director of Human Resources and played a key role in enhancing employee engagement and fostering a positive culture. Before that, they held the position of Senior HR Manager and Human Resources Manager at Orthofix, where they gained extensive experience in HR operations and management. Katie began their career as an HR Generalist and Recruiter at Orthofix, where they focused on recruitment and providing innovative solutions for trauma and spine fusion. Prior to joining Orthofix, Katie worked as a Technical Recruiter at Comtek Group and Technisource.

Katie Shelgren, PHR obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University, where they studied from 2001 to 2005.
