Richard Renati

Richard Renati has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades in the medical device industry. Richard is currently employed as the Director of Engineering at Orthofix, where they are responsible for driving business continuity strategies and coordinating the development of new surgical instruments. Prior to this, Richard served as the Director of Validation, Reprocessing & Sterilization at Intuitive Surgical for five years. Richard also held the position of Sr. Director of Operations and Process Development at Shifamed, where they led the transfer of manufacturing from contractors to in-house and managed various operational responsibilities. Richard's experience also includes serving as the VP of Operations at Silk Road Medical, Inc., where they executed development contracts, collaborated with key opinion leaders, and defined product needs. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Director of Research and Development at Boston Scientific (Embolic Protection) and Director of Manufacturing at Embolic Protection Inc. Richard began their career as an R&D Engineer at Prograft Medical/ W.L. Gore & Associates and as a Process Development Engineer at Advanced Cardiovascular Systems/Guidant.

Richard Renati attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1986 to 1989, focusing on Mechanical Engineering.
