Emily Mader has had a diverse range of work experiences. Emily started their career as a Financial Analyst Intern at SAS, where they developed analytical skills and presented information to top-level managers. Emily then worked as an Audit Intern at Johnson Lambert & Co. LLP, where they independently performed auditing procedures and engaged in conversations with clients. Following that, they joined Carolina Accounting and Management Consulting as a Staff Accountant, where they gained experience in payroll, business analysis, and tax preparation. Emily also improved their time management skills by working full time while attending school. Emily then served as a Graduate Assistant at North Carolina State University, assisting with the development of a technology interface program. Emily briefly worked at EY as part of the ITRA team, combining accounting and technology to facilitate financial audits. Currently, they serve as the Practice Administrator and CFO at Orthopaedic Specialists of North Carolina, where they oversee the operations of a multi-location clinic and handles financial reporting, accounts payable management, and revenue/billing oversight.
Emily Mader pursued their education in accounting at North Carolina State University. Emily earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from 2007 to 2011. Later, they completed their Master's degree in Accounting from North Carolina State University between 2012 and 2013.
