Kris Burana currently serves as the Medical Director at OCC at Inverness Surgery Center, focusing on orthopedic surgery since January 2022. Additionally, Kris holds the position of Physician Partner at Orthopedic Centers of Colorado and has been the Medical Director at MILE HIGH SURGICENTER, LLC since February 2020. Previously, Kris was the Medical Director at Hampden/DTC Surgery Center from January 2015 to January 2022 and served as a Physician at USAP-Colorado during the same timeframe, where Kris was also a member of the Clinical Governance Board and chaired Clinical Quality. Kris's experience in anesthesia includes roles as a Physician Partner at Greater Colorado Anesthesia and serving on the Board of Directors there and at Metro Denver Anesthesia. Kris's educational background includes an MD in Anesthesia from Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine and an MD in Medicine from the University of Tennessee-Health Science Center College of Medicine, along with a BA in Economics/Psychology from Vanderbilt University.
