Stephen Thon, MD, is an experienced orthopedic sports medicine surgeon currently practicing at Orthopedic Centers of Colorado since June 2022. Prior to this role, Stephen served as an orthopedic surgeon at DENVER METRO ORTHOPEDICS, P.C. from July 2020 to May 2022, and completed a sports medicine fellowship at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus from August 2019 to July 2020. Stephen's extensive training includes an orthopedic surgery residency at Tulane Medical Center from July 2014 to June 2019 and a prior position as a pathology assistant at Swedish Medical Center from May 2009 to July 2010. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Tulane University School of Medicine (2010-2014) and a Bachelor's degree in Integrative Physiology and Biochemistry from the University of Colorado Boulder (2005-2009).
