Mark Hyams

Mark Hyams is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in both full-stack development and orchestral performance. Currently, Mark serves as a Senior Software Engineer at Orum since December 2020, previously holding the position of Software Engineer at River-Live from May to December 2020, where Mark designed architecture and built a WebSocket server. Prior to that, Mark was self-employed as a full-stack developer, creating various applications including a collaboration board and an ascent tracker. Mark's earlier career as an orchestral musician included performances across the globe, participation in a GRAMMY-winning album, and tenured positions in prestigious orchestras. Mark holds a Mastery-Based Learning degree in Computer Software Engineering from Launch School, a Master of Music from Northwestern University, and a Bachelor of Music from the University of Colorado Boulder.
