Haimi Estifanos is a dedicated Global Fellowship Advocate at ORYGEN Youth Health Research Centre, since February 2022, focusing on advocating for youth mental health investments. In addition, Haimi serves as a Trainer within the IFMSA, co-leading training initiatives in Ethiopia to enhance capacity-building for medical students globally. Previous experience includes roles as Advocate/Volunteer Manager at CAMH, where Haimi promoted patient and community care through collaboration on mental health research and development, and as Promoter/Advocate/Volunteer Activities Coordinator at The Canadian Women's Foundation, facilitating mentorship seminars and empowering women and youth. Haimi also contributed as a Community Organizer for the Canadian Red Cross and engaged in Global Health advocacy through Model United Nations conferences, emphasizing sustainable development and social justice. Haimi holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from St. Paul Hospital Millennium Medical College.
