Alex Hwengwere

Alex Hwengwere has a strong background in engineering and process engineering. Alex started their career in 2007 as a Process Engineer at Shaw Energy, where they worked until 2008. Alex then moved on to Sasol, where they worked as a Senior Process Engineer from 2009 to 2012. After that, Alex joined ORYX GTL as the Head of Process Engineering from 2012 onwards. In 2016, they joined Qatar Petroleum, initially as a Senior Process Engineer and later taking on the role of Engineering Services Lead for Mesaieed Projects.

Alex Hwengwere holds a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, which they completed from 2003 to 2004. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Chemical Engineering from the National University of Science and Technology (ZW) between 1997 and 2002. Additionally, they attended St Augustines, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned.
