Christopher West

Christopher West has extensive work experience in the renewable energy industry. Christopher currently works at Statkraft as the Head of Infrastructure and Emerging Technology, where they manage central engineering teams and provides infrastructure support to renewable energy projects globally. Christopher is responsible for overseeing engineering for emerging technologies such as battery storage and hydrogen. Prior to joining Statkraft, Christopher worked at Solarcentury as the Head of Central Engineering and the Head of Engineering for Latin America. In these roles, they coordinated engineering processes, developed quality standards, and oversaw the engineering of solar projects in Latin America. Before Solarcentury, Christopher worked as a Senior Engineer at BAYWA R.E. Solar Systems Ltd, where they designed and supplied solar PV projects and provided technical support to customers. Christopher also has experience working on renewable energy systems installation and design at Fundelec. Christopher began their career as a Researcher at Universidad de Los Andes.
