Edgar Vergara

Edgar Vergara is an experienced Reliability Manager currently serving at ORYX GTL since November 2023. Previously, Edgar held the position of Senior Specialist Reliability Engineer at ADNOC Group from September 2015 to October 2023, focusing on LNG plant operations. Prior to that, Edgar was the Head of Reliability Management in the Operational Excellence Division at PETRONAS from December 2013 to July 2015. Earlier roles at ADNOC Group included Reliability Section Head at GASCO from July 2010 to June 2013, and Maintenance & Reliability Head at PDVSA Petroleos de Venezuela S.A. from November 1994 to June 2007. Edgar holds a Reliability Engineer Specialist degree from Universidad Simón Bolívar and a Mechanical Engineering degree from Universidad Nacional Experimental Politécnica 'Antonio José de Sucre'.
