Alberto Ortega Muñoz

Alberto Ortega Muñoz began their work experience in 2000 at Almirall as a Research Scientist. In this role, they were responsible for designing, selecting, and synthesizing new drugs. Alberto also conducted analysis, isolation, and purification of compounds, as well as performed bibliographic searches and optimization of synthesis methods. During their time at Almirall, Alberto Ortega Muñoz contributed to the issuance of one patent, published two papers, and was involved in the research of two products currently in clinical phases. In 2009, they joined Oryzon as a Project Leader in Medicinal Chemistry, but no end date for this role is provided.

Alberto Ortega Muñoz completed their graduate degree in Organic Chemistry at Universitat de Barcelona in 1998.
