Shawn Mihal

Shawn Mihal currently serves as the Chief Compliance Officer at Osaic since May 2023. Prior to this role, Shawn held multiple significant positions at LPL Financial, including Senior Vice President of Supervision and Operational Risk, and served as Executive Vice President of Institution Services from June 2021 to October 2022. Shawn was the President of Waddell & Reed from March 2015 to June 2021, and previously held various roles at Transamerica Financial Advisors, Inc. including Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, as well as Senior Vice President, Chief Regulatory Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer from September 2010 to March 2015. Early in the career, Shawn was the Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer at Great American Advisors, Inc. from June 1999 to August 2010. Shawn earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics from the University of Cincinnati.
