Shonosuke Koga

Shonosuke Koga is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Site Manager for the Niigata East Port Biomass Power Plant at Equis Development Pte. Ltd. since August 2021, having previously held the role of Deputy Site Manager. With a long tenure at Osaka Gas, Koga has held various managerial positions since 1998, focusing on technical due diligence and asset management of overseas power plants since 2018, as well as leading the commissioning of the Senboku Power Plant starting in July 2008. Earlier experience includes a research role at IHI Corporation from 1994 to 1998, where Koga contributed to designing high-efficiency turbine blades. Koga holds a degree from Osaka University, completed in 1994.
