Federico has accrued wide-ranging experience advising businesses in dispute resolution both in and out of court and before arbitration tribunals; his practice has a particular focus on international disputes.

He is the Head of the Italian Dispute Resolution team and a member of the International Arbitration Group of Osborne Clarke, which handles complex, multi-jurisdictional, international arbitration proceedings. His legal expertise includes all types of commercial disputes; he has gained solid experience in international and cross-border cases and always pays special attention to the procedural strategy.

Federico advises on corporate matters predominantly in relation to disputes involving shareholders, corporate management and supervisory bodies. He has considerable experience in insolvency matters dealing with both disputes and restructuring procedures. He also has niche experience in litigation related to financial intermediaries and insurance matters, and with reference to the role of fiduciaries. He assists clients and mutual aid societies operating in the healthcare sectors.

Federico has conducted both ad hoc and institutional arbitrations to final award, including under the International Court of Arbitration (ICC) and Milan Chamber of Arbitration (CAM) rules. He is a key member of the Italian focus group on third party litigation funding, a practice that is only just taking its first steps within the Italian market but which offers great potential for the firm’s litigation and arbitration clients.
