Courtney Powell, PMP, CSM has over 20 years of experience in the IT and business development fields. In 1998, they began their career as an Aviation Operations Sergeant in the U.S. Army. From 2005 to 2011, they held various positions in the private sector, including Technical Assistant II at Consumers Energy, Business Development/Operations at Thompson Wimmer, Inc., and Role Player at EKS Group, LLC. From 2011 to 2016, they worked as an Enterprise Resource Planning Business Analyst at both STG Inc. and General Dynamics Information Technology. In 2017, they served as a Project Manager at NCI, Inc. and from 2018 to 2022, they were a Program Manager at SOS International LLC, overseeing the U.S. Army Active Directory Restructure hardware implementation project for the Information Systems Engineering Command (ISEC). Currently, they are a Program Manager at OSC Edge.

Courtney Powell, PMP, CSM has an educational background that includes a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A.) with a minor in Project Management from Trident University International, which they attended from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Cochise College from 2011 to 2012 and obtained an Associate's degree in General Studies. Additionally, they hold several certifications, including an ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice obtained in November 2017, a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute obtained in August 2022, a Certified ScrumMaster\u00ae (CSM\u00ae) from the Scrum Alliance obtained in August 2022, and a CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA obtained in March 2017.
