Deena Folic, MBA, PHR

Deena Folic, MBA, PHR has worked in the Human Resources field since 2006. Deena began their career at JM Family Enterprises Inc. as an HR Generalist, where they were responsible for full-cycle recruitment and on-boarding, personally coached and counseled managers and associates, handled associate relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution, enforced HR policies and practices, and conducted exit interviews. Deena then moved to Nova Southeastern University as a Human Resources Generalist/Consultant, where they investigated employee relations complaints, coached and counseled managers, faculty and employees, managed conflict resolution, partnered with management on corrective action, enforced HR policies and practices and conducted exit interviews, and facilitated numerous HR training sessions and HR focus groups. In 2013, they became an HR Manager at Parkson Corporation, and in 2014 they were promoted to HR Director at Alfred Angelo. In 2017, they moved to iPic Entertainment as a Senior Human Resources Manager, and in 2018 they became the Human Resources Director and an Independant Contractor- Human Resources at OSC Edge.

Deena Folic obtained their Bachelor's degree in Communication, General from St. Thomas University. Deena then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Business Administration - MBA from Nova Southeastern University. In 2010, they obtained the PHR- Professional in Human Resources certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
