Renuka Watalingam

Renuka Watalingam is an experienced forensic professional currently serving as Evidence Supervisor and Forensic Technician at the Osceola County Sheriff's Office since July 2020. Previously held positions include Crime Scene Analyst at the Seminole County Sheriff's Office and Crime Scene Technician at the Ocala Police Department, where responsibilities encompassed processing crime scenes, collecting and preserving evidence, and generating detailed reports. Renuka's academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Forensic & Investigative Science and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from West Virginia University, along with early education at INTI and SMK Convent Bukit Nanas. Additional experience includes work as a Graduate Research Assistant focused on crime scene investigation studies and an internship with the Royal Malaysian Police's Narcotics and Vehicle Examination Sections.
