Rebecca Harbour

Rebecca Harbour is a Planner I at Osceola County Government since September 2023, previously serving as a CivicSpark Fellow with the City of Maple Valley, WA, where coordination of the Climate Action and Resiliency Plan was a key responsibility. With a strong background in community engagement, Rebecca's experience includes directing a steering committee, fostering partnerships, and enhancing community relations during tenure as Community Service Director for Climate Action Gator. Additional roles include grassroots organizing for Florida PIRG, event planning for the University of Florida Assembly for Action Scholars Program, and contributing to various organizations like Conservation Florida and Alachua Habitat for Humanity. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Florida, Rebecca also holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and an Associate's degree in the same field.

Osceola County Government

Osceola County is a county rich in history and life. Created in 1887, Osceola County is a 1,506 square mile area that serves as the south/central boundary of the Central Florida greater metropolitan area. The city of Kissimmee, the county seat, is 18 miles due south of Orlando. Osceola's other incorporated city, St. Cloud, is 9 miles east of Kissimmee and approximately 45 miles west of the city of Melbourne on the Atlantic coast.
