Shannon Chambers is a seasoned financial and compliance professional with extensive experience in public sector accounting and project management. Currently serving as the Financial & Compliance Manager for Osceola County Government since December 2021, Shannon has previously held roles including Project Accountant and Contract Technician at the Osceola County Board of County Commissioners, where responsibilities included analyzing capital improvement projects and ensuring contract compliance. Earlier experience includes roles as Event Planner/Office Manager at Great Outdoor Days and Office Manager at ElderLink, showcasing a strong foundation in budget management and administrative functions. Shannon holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Grand Canyon University, obtained between 2019 and 2022, and graduated from William R Boone High School in 1999.

Osceola County is a county rich in history and life. Created in 1887, Osceola County is a 1,506 square mile area that serves as the south/central boundary of the Central Florida greater metropolitan area. The city of Kissimmee, the county seat, is 18 miles due south of Orlando. Osceola's other incorporated city, St. Cloud, is 9 miles east of Kissimmee and approximately 45 miles west of the city of Melbourne on the Atlantic coast.
