Dimitris Oikonomopoulos began their work experience as an Associate Data Scientist at The Signal Group in March 2020 and held this position until October 2021. In November 2021, they transitioned to the role of Data Scientist at the same company and worked in this position until November 2022. In November 2022, Dimitris joined OSeven Telematics as a Machine Learning Engineer, where they are currently employed.
Dimitris Oikonomopoulos has an extensive education history in the field of mathematics. Dimitris obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mathematics from The University of Bonn between 2016 and 2019. Prior to that, they pursued their Master of Science (MS) in Mathematics at the National Kapodistrian University of Athens from 2014 to 2016. Dimitris completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics at the same institution from 2010 to 2014.
In addition to their formal education, Dimitris Oikonomopoulos also holds two certifications. Dimitris obtained a certification in "Big Data Analysis with Scala and Spark" from Coursera in January 2021. A year earlier, in January 2020, they earned a certification in "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" from Coursera as well.
