Michael Keefe

Michael Keefe is a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in energy and sustainability management. Currently serving as the Manager of Energy and Sustainability at OSF HealthCare since January 2019, Michael oversees corporate initiatives across 15 hospitals and over 100 clinics. Prior to this role, Michael worked as a Lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, teaching courses in Hazardous Materials Management and related fields from July 2018 to June 2022. Experience at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles as the Energy and Environment Lead notably included achieving significant reductions in sustainability KPIs. Additionally, Michael has held roles as an Environmental Management Specialist at Redhorse Corporation and as a Senior Project Manager at Tetra Tech EM Inc. Michael holds advanced degrees in Environmental Engineering and Science as well as Biomedical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the College of the Holy Cross.
