Joey Arsenault has a diverse work experience in the financial sector. Joey began their career in 2005 at State Street as a Senior Associate in Institutional Accounting, where they handled various asset servicing tasks and maintained relationships with key stakeholders. In 2009, they joined Canadian Tire Corporation as a Financial Analyst, focusing on reviewing dealer financial performance and implementing action plans for improvement. From 2010 to 2012, Joey worked at the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions Canada as a Senior Supervisor, overseeing market and liquidity risk management. Joey then progressed to become a Manager, and later a Senior Manager, in the Capital Markets Risk Assessment Services division, where they assessed risk exposure and regulatory compliance of Canadian financial institutions. In July 2021, Joey was promoted to the position of Director in the Market & Liquidity Risk Division, indicating their continued growth and expertise in the field.

Joey Arsenault obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Prince Edward Island between 2000 and 2005. Before that, they attended Westisle Composite High School from 1997 to 2000. In addition to their formal education, Joey also possesses various certifications in the field of finance, such as the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Financial Analysis & Investment Management, and Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
