Vincent Fumo

Vincent Fumo has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Vincent began their career as a Teaching Assistant at the Simcoe County District School Board from July 2011 to August 2014. Vincent then worked as a Communications Analyst Co-op for OMERS, a pension program, from January 2015 to April 2015. In 2015, they also held a role as a Business and Finance Summer Student at the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board.

Vincent then joined McMaster University in May 2016 as a Peer Career Mentor, providing guidance and support to fellow students. Vincent later worked as an Accounting Support Summer Student at McMaster Innovation Park from July 2017 to September 2017.

In 2018, Vincent transitioned to the financial sector, working as a Financial Risk Analyst for Small and Medium Sized Banking at the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions Canada (OSFI) from January 2018 to December 2019. Vincent then progressed to the role of Management Trainee in Banking Supervision, beginning in January 2020.

Vincent's most recent role is at OSFI as a Principal Analyst in Supervision Data & Analytics Insights, which they started in June 2022. Additionally, Vincent has gained customer service experience as a Sales Associate at Hudson's Bay Company from September 2012 to September 2019.

Vincent Fumo completed their education at McMaster University. Vincent obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on finance from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Actuarial and Financial Mathematics Co-op from McMaster University, which they completed from 2012 to 2017. In addition to their degrees, Vincent Fumo has obtained certifications in Software Development in Python from Cornell University, Coaching for Effective Leadership from the Canada School of Public Service, and a Diploma in Financial Trading and Investment from the Academy of Financial Trading.
