Janet Taylor serves as the Manager of Sustainability and Business Advocacy at Oshawa Power since August 2015, leading sustainability initiatives aimed at enhancing operational excellence and supporting clients across Ontario, with current focuses on transit electrification and local carbon policy development. Previously, Janet held the role of Manager of Conservation and Demand Management at Oshawa Power, overseeing a $25M conservation program geared toward strategic incentive disbursement and compliance. As a co-owner of Hayfield Farm, Janet promotes community benefits and heritage preservation through a century farm featuring diverse plant life. Janet's earlier experience includes positions at Summerhill Group, where responsibilities spanned account management and program direction, and roles in program coordination at the Clean Air Foundation and crew leadership at the Town of Oakville. Janet holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours from Queen's University, along with additional certifications in supervising and strategic brand management.
