Carla Huizenga

Carla Huizenga is an experienced educator and holistic health professional currently serving as a Teacher at Oshkosh Area School District since September 2020. From 2010 to May 2023, Carla worked as a Holistic Health Counselor at Food for Thought, emphasizing a comprehensive approach to health and wellness without focusing solely on specific dietary components. In 2013, Carla briefly held the position of Board Certified Health & Nutrition Counselor at Weight of the Fox Valley Summit. Carla holds a Master’s in Education from Concordia University-Wisconsin, expected in December 2023, a certification in Holistic Health and Nutrition from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
