Chris Pence

Chris Pence has a diverse work experience in the IT and aviation industry. Chris started their career in 2001 as an IT Specialist and Comm/Nav Specialist in the United States Air Force. In this role, they managed avionics systems, performed repairs and installations, and maintained communication and navigation systems. Chris later worked as an Avionics Technician at Hagerstown Aircraft Services, where they troubleshooted avionic problems and performed system upgrades.

Chris also has experience in database management, having worked as an Information Technology Specialist at the Internal Revenue Service. Here, they designed and maintained databases, optimized performance, and generated complex queries and reports.

Furthermore, Chris worked as a Systems Administrator at World Harvest Outreach, where they upgraded the building's IT infrastructure and setup ethernet-connected projectors and sound systems. Chris also worked as an IT Technical Analyst Principal at Oshkosh Corporation, providing technical consulting, managing complex server systems, and advising on hardware solutions and Active Directory architectures.

Chris's expertise extends to Sierra Nevada Corporation, where they worked as a Systems Engineer Senior and OS/Integration Lead. Chris also holds an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Applied Science Avionic Systems Technology, which they earned from Community College of the Air Force from 2003 to 2010. In addition to their degrees, Chris has certifications including IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from AXELOS Global Best Practice and a CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner ce certification from CompTIA, which they obtained in 2019 and 2015 respectively.
