Michael Soepnel

Michael Soepnel has worked in the IT industry since 2005. Michael began their career as a Network Support Technician at New Era IT. In 2008, they moved to OSIbeyond as a Network Engineer. Two years later, in 2010, they joined DelCor Technology Solutions as a Network Consultant. Finally, in 2012, they returned to OSIbeyond as their Chief Information Security Officer and Chief Technology Officer.

Michael Soepnel obtained a Bachelor of Information Technology degree in Software Development from Wintec - Waikato Institute of Technology between 2001 and 2004. In October 2020, they became a CMMC Registered Practitioner (RP) from the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Accreditation Body (CMMC AB). In November 2022, they earned a Certified CMMC Professional (CCP) from The Cyber AB.
