Javad Azanchi

Javad Azanchi, P.Eng., is an experienced mining and metallurgical professional currently serving as the General Manager at Osisko Development Corp. since September 2023, overseeing the Cariboo Gold Project in British Columbia. Previous roles include Mill Manager at Barkerville Gold Mines Ltd., where Javad managed a significant mill upgrade and care and maintenance operations, and Mill Manager at Capstone Mining Corp., focusing on safety, production optimization, and team development. Javad has also held positions as Chief Metallurgist and Senior Metallurgist across various mining companies, contributing to metallurgical processes and improvements. Javad's career began with roles in production and process engineering, culminating in a BASc in Metals and Materials Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
