Ahmed Shaheen

Ahmed Shaheen is a Principal Software Engineer at OSL since December 2022, where responsibilities include designing and implementing blockchain solutions for custody systems. Previously, as a Senior Software Engineer at Telstra from June 2020 to November 2022, Ahmed utilized AWS to develop scalable microservices and AWS Lambda functions. At Bank Aljazira from January 2012 to May 2020, Ahmed served as System Development and Support Manager, leading a team to transition legacy applications to microservices architecture, in addition to roles as Analyst, Architect, and Application Developer. Earlier experience includes application development at IST Networks and a Java Software Engineer position at Arabian Advanced Systems. Ahmed holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering, completed in 2008.
