Laura Baers

Laura Baers has a diverse work experience in various industries. Laura started their career in 2012 at the University of Cambridge as a PhD student, where they also served as a Mentor for the Disability Resource Centre. In 2017, they worked as a Consultant at IDTechEx until 2018. From 2018 to 2020, Laura worked as a Strategy Consultant in the Healthcare and Life Sciences sector at KPMG UK. Since 2020, they have been employed at Osler Diagnostics, initially as the Chief of Staff and currently as the Director of Strategy & Operations. Osler Diagnostics is a UK-based diagnostics company focused on providing accessible and high-quality lab diagnostics globally.

Laura Baers completed their education in biochemistry with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from the University of Cambridge, from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biology from the University of Southampton, from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, they hold a Ph.D certification from the University of Cambridge.
