Parmida Esmaeilpour is currently an Articling Student at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP, having started in August 2025. Prior roles include serving as the O’Brien Fellowship Programme Coordinator at the Centre for Human Rights & Legal Pluralism from July 2023 to March 2025, and as a Summer Student at Osler in 2024. Additional experience encompasses positions such as Research Assistant (Law) at Citizen Lab, Student Clerk at La Cour Supérieure du Québec, Student Program Coordinator at the McGill Dobson Centre for Entrepreneurship, and Caseworker at the Compass Startup Legal Clinic. Academic achievements include a Doctor of Law and Bachelor of Civil Law, with a focus on International Law and Legal Studies from McGill University, alongside a Master’s Degree in Political Science (International Relations) from The University of British Columbia. Parmida has also contributed as a Research Assistant to Prof. Peer Zumbansen and as a Writer for the McGill Business Meter Blog. Research efforts include investigating Canada’s involvement in the Arms Trade Treaty.
