Samar-Balkiss Benaskeur

Samar-Balkiss Benaskeur is an articling student at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP since May 2023, following a role as a caseworker at Clinique juridique itinérante. As the founder and co-president of McGill's North African Law Students' Association, Samar-Balkiss focuses on enhancing access to legal education for North African students while promoting cultural awareness within McGill's Faculty of Law. Previous experience includes positions as a podcast producer for the McGill Artificial Intelligence Society and various roles within the McGill Law Journal, including chair of the equity committee and editor. Educational credentials comprise a B.C.L/J.D. from McGill University set to complete in December 2023, alongside a DEC in Pure & Applied Sciences from CEGEP Champlain St. Lawrence and a high school diploma from École secondaire de Rochebelle.
