Luis Santana has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Luis started their career in 1999 at AT&T as a Facilities Technician, responsible for fiber and copper cable repair and troubleshooting T1 and Metro Ethernet circuits for customers. After two years, they transitioned to the role of Outside Plant Engineer, a position they held for the next six years. In 2013, Luis joined Osmose Utilities Services, Inc. as an Outside Plant Engineer.

Luis Santana received their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the University of Camaguey in Cuba. Luis attended this institution from 1977 to 1982. Additionally, they also attended the AT&T Training Center, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. Luis'stime at the training center lasted from 1999 to 2010.
