Abaynesh Yihdego Gebreyohannes

Abaynesh Yihdego Gebreyohannes, Ph.D, Chem. Eng., is a Senior Research Scientist at Osmoses since August 2023, with extensive experience in membrane engineering and chemical engineering. Prior to this role, Abaynesh worked as a Scientific Researcher at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, focusing on the fabrication and modification of hollow-fiber membranes and gas dehydration module design. Previous positions include conducting research at KU Leuven, CNR-ITM, and the University of Calabria, where Abaynesh specialized in various aspects of membrane processes, biocatalysis, and wastewater valorization. Abaynesh also has teaching experience as a Lecturer at Addis Ababa University and Bahir Dar University. Abaynesh holds multiple degrees in Membrane Engineering and Chemical Engineering, including Erasmus Mundus Doctorate and a PhD in Chemical Engineering and Materials.
