Steve Forster

Steve Forster is an experienced public servant and consultant with a diverse background in local government and business. Currently serving as a County Councillor and Executive Member for Education at Hampshire County Council since May 2017, Steve oversees various sectors including schools and libraries. Simultaneously, Steve acts as a consultant for Osprey Charging Network, focusing on the development of electric vehicle infrastructure. As a District Councillor for Hart District Council, re-elected in 2024, Steve represents Elvetham Heath & Fleet West. Additionally, Steve serves as a trustee for Sasha’s Project, a charity providing crisis support for vulnerable individuals during nighttime hours. Previous roles include public governor at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust and leadership positions in sales and business development at several technology firms, including Phoenix IT Group and DeRisk QA. Steve holds a BSc in Applied Chemistry from Brunel University and has a foundational education from Mill Hill School.
