Joseph Jacks has been working in the tech industry since 2018, when they founded OSS Capital. In 2020, they invested in Rocket.Chat. In 2021, they served as the Founding Lead Seed Investor for OpenBB, Hoppscotch, Cal.com, Inc., and NocoDB. In 2022, they were the Founding Lead Seed Investor for W4 Games and Spacedrive, and the Pre-Seed Investor for Stability AI. Joseph also served as the Founding Lead Seed Investor for Parallel in 2021.

Joseph Jacks attended Jacks Academy from 1991 to 2006, completing their pre-school through high-school education in general studies.
