Marco Bianchini is an experienced economist currently part of the SME and Entrepreneurship team at the OECD, where contributions include supporting national governments in developing effective policies for SMEs through original analysis and insights. Previously, Bianchini served as a Junior Economist in the OECD Global Relations Secretariat - Eurasia team, aiding governments in private sector development policies. In addition, Bianchini is an expert on the Expert Advisory Board of the Blockchain Observatory at the Polytechnic University of Milan. Prior experience includes roles at McKinsey & Company as an Analyst and Research Analyst, and earlier positions as a Financial Analyst at ADVISOR - Open Financial Communication and a Research Assistant at Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi. Education includes a Master of Science in Economics from Università Bocconi and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Università degli Studi di Firenze, both earned with summa cum laude honors.
