Dr. Rovinsky attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of California, San Francisco. He has a special interest in the integration of technology into orthopaedic surgery and completed a fellowship at Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem focusing on Trauma and Computer Assisted Orthopaedic Surgery. He has helped develop technology for fluoroscopic navigation for total hip replacement as well as robotic-assisted orthopaedic total knee replacement.
Dr. Rovinsky travels internationally to educate surgeons on the latest technological advances in orthopaedic surgery. As a balance to his world travels and immersion in high technology, Dr. Rovinsky feels fortunate to be able to live, surf and practice on the Garden Island of Kaua’i.
