Dr. Ehsan Saadat is an orthopaedic spine surgeon with special expertise in minimally invasive, motion preserving and complex revision spine surgery. He practices at the Cedars-Sinai Spine Center in Los Angeles, California.

Dr. Saadat studied biomedical engineering at UC Berkeley and earned his MD from UC San Francisco School of Medicine. He then completed his orthopaedic surgical training at Harvard where he received extensive training in complex spinal surgery and scoliosis. While at Harvard, Dr. Saadat served as the chief editor of the Orthopaedic Journal at Harvard Medical School and was honored as chief resident at Massachusetts General Hospital during his last year of training. Dr. Saadat then completed a spine surgery fellowship at the prestigious Emory Spine Center in 2016, focusing on minimally-invasive, motion-preserving and complex spine surgery.

Dr. Saadat is a published author of numerous research papers and book chapters covering a wide range of topics in orthopaedics and spine surgery, and is frequently invited to present his work at national and international conferences. Most recently, he has heavily contributed to the newest authoritative textbook of techniques in spine surgery, to be published by Lippincott Williams and Wilkins in summer of 2019.
