Ryan Deberry

Ryan DeBerry is an experienced operations leader with a robust background in the manufacturing and energy sectors. Currently serving as COO and previously as VP of Operations at Ostara Nutrient Recovery Technologies since May 2013, Ryan directs activities at multiple operating sites, focusing on efficiency, continuous improvement, and alignment with corporate goals. Prior to Ostara, Ryan held the position of General Manager at Resolute Forest Products from May 2005 to May 2013, overseeing a recycled market pulp mill. As President and Owner of DeBerry Enterprises, Inc. from June 2001 to May 2005, Ryan successfully doubled business growth within four years. Earlier roles include Technical Manager and Process Engineer at American Fiber Resources, and Safety Supervisor at Eastern Associated Coal Corp. Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science in Safety Engineering from Fairmont State University between 1988 and 1993.
