Shandra Phillips has over 20 years of professional experience in accounting and HR roles. Shandra began their career in 1992 as a Property Manager for Hambley Company, where they handled bookkeeping for a 400-unit apartment complex, statement of deposits accounts, booking of rental income, monthly account reconciliations, and service of 3-day pay or quit. In 1997, they moved to Advanced Automated Systems as an Accounting/HR Manager, where they were responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, sales orders, invoicing/billing, bank deposits, commission tracking, depreciation calculation, payroll (including payroll taxes), full job costing, payroll deposits, payroll reconciliation, quarterly payroll reporting, W2s, W3s, 1099s, and 1096s. In 2000, they became the Accounting/HR Manager for Mark Window Products, where they supervised the accounting and credit department, was responsible for hiring, evaluation, and termination, and handled monthly and quarterly volume rebates, promotion rebates, and growth rebates. In 2002, they moved to ADC Technologies Group as a Controller, where they were responsible for all accounting functions and redesigned income statement and balance sheet accounts, as well as weekly AR collections. In 2005, they became the Assistant US Controller for Artemis International Solutions, where they maintained all cash accounts, prepared and distributed daily FOREX reports. From 2006 to 2011, they served as Controller/HR Manager for March Financial Group, where they oversaw a portfolio of 8 financial services companies, supervised 8 employees, and managed payroll processing for 200+ employees and contractors. From 2011 to 2013, they were the Controller/Finance/HR Manager for The Paper Company, where they maintained all cash accounts, prepared daily/monthly cash reports and forecasts, and handled full month end close process. From 2013 to 2016, they were the Controller/HR Manager for Micrometals, a multi-division manufacturing company, where they handled monthly financial reporting of all divisions and quarterly consolidation of all entities. Finally, from 2016 to present, they have been the Controller/HR Director for OSTechnical, a premier IT staffing firm, where they are responsible for the full cycle day-to-day management of the accounting, HR, and admin departments.

Shandra Phillips obtained their MBA in Accounting and Business/Management from California State University, Long Beach in 2008. Shandra also earned a Bachelor of Science and Associates in Business Administration/Accounting from the same university in 2004. Prior to that, they obtained an AS in Business/Accounting from Orange Coast College in 2000.
