Ove Hansen Turoy

Ove Hansen Turoy is an experienced maritime professional with a diverse background in engineering and project management. Turoy has been with Østensjø Rederi since July 2017, serving as Project Manager for the delivery and startup of Edda Fortis, as well as Project Management Chief Engineer for the acquisition and refurbishment of Edda Sphynx and Edda Savannah. Prior roles at Østensjø Rederi include New-building Supervisor for Edda Fortis and Chief Engineer for various subsea and support vessels. Turoy's earlier experience includes working as a Process Operator at Statoil ASA and Chief Engineer on seismic support vessels, with a foundation in the Royal Norwegian Navy. Turoy completed education at Bergen Maritime School in both 1986-1988 and 1996-1997.
