Nathan Spees

Nathan Spees is an experienced professional currently serving as the WWF Global Education Coordinator at WWF Österreich since January 2010, where responsibilities include facilitating cooperation and strategic planning within WWF's education community and overseeing the Education Leadership Group to implement global education strategies. Additionally, Nathan holds the position of Eat4Change Output Lead, focusing on European educational initiatives that promote active citizenship and sustainable dietary practices, and has acted as the Program Coordinator for Generation Earth, an international youth empowerment initiative. With a background as an outdoor instructor and program developer for the Österreichischer Alpenverein, Nathan has also contributed to academia as an English instructor at Universität Innsbruck. Prior to these roles, Nathan served as a Tribal Coordinator at the US EPA from September 1999 to September 2005. Nathan holds a Master's degree in Secondary English Education from City College of New York and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Wake Forest University.
