Jeff Cowan

Jeff Cowan is the Founder and Managing Director of Capital Four, LLLP, established in January 2018, providing experienced guidance and capital to management teams and entrepreneurs. Cowan also serves as a General Partner at Brightstone Venture Capital since June 2017, focusing on early-growth stage investments in technology and life sciences. As a Co-Founding Investor in MySimplePetLab, Cowan advocates for improved pet healthcare access and has contributed to the success of Ostra Cybersecurity as Founding Shareholder and Chairman. Additionally, Cowan is involved with several ventures including Lattice Therapeutics, Micah Group, Tamarack Technology, Leasing Ventures LLC, and Sadie Blue Software. A notable achievement includes being Co-Founder and Chairman of Verata Health, which was successfully sold in 2021. Cowan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Banking Finance from Buena Vista University and has previously attended Iowa State University and Algona High School.
