Matthias Martensen has a diverse work experience. Matthias is currently working as a Co-Founder at Ostrom, where they are involved in building a sustainable energy supplier and reducing costs and carbon footprint. Prior to that, they were associated with Oliver Wyman for six years, starting as an Engagement Manager and also serving as a Benchmarking Analyst and Consulting Intern. Matthias also worked as a Summer Intern in Global Financial Advisory (M&A) at Rothschild and completed an internship in Finance&Controlling/Business Development LATAM at Bosch.
Matthias Martensen began their education in 2011, studying International Business Administration at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. Matthias completed their Bachelor of Science degree in this field in 2014. In 2013, Matthias also briefly attended The University of British Columbia to further their studies in Commerce.
After completing their undergraduate studies, Matthias enrolled at UCL in 2014 to pursue a Master of Science degree in Globalisation and Latin American Development. Matthias completed this program in 2015.
In addition to their formal education, Matthias obtained two certifications in July 2018. Matthias completed the Deep Learning Specialization and the Machine Learning programs, both offered by Coursera.
