Maria Chatterton

Maria Chatterton, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Maria is currently employed as the Senior Director of Finance at Oswego County Opportunities, Inc. since October 2020. Prior to this, Maria worked as an Independent Consultant, providing financial analysis and assistance to various companies, including research on tax exemptions and sales tax requirements. As a Census Supervisor at the U.S. Census Bureau from July 2020 to October 2020, they demonstrated their management skills. Maria also served as the Lead Financial Analyst at Saab Defense and Security USA from February 2018 to January 2020, where they led the Navy Program Financial organization and supported new business development. From 2013 to 2018, they held the position of President/Financial Secretary at LMEA (Non Profit), showcasing their leadership abilities. Maria's previous roles include Senior Multi-Functional Analyst Staff at Lockheed Martin, Senior Financial Analyst-Business Analyst at Magna Powertrain, Cost Accounting Manager/Operation Analyst at Infimed Inc, and Financial Assistant at CDM Smith. Maria started their career as a Sales Assistant at Nova Tours and Travel Inc. Maria has a strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, program management, and implementing financial processes.

Maria Chatterton obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Organizational Behavior Studies from Syracuse University, where they studied from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in General Studies at Columbia College, where they studied from 1998 to 2001.

In addition to their academic achievements, Maria Chatterton has acquired several certifications throughout their career. In December 2019, they earned the Earned Value Professional (EVP) certification from Saab Defense and Security USA. Maria also obtained the EVP certification from Lockheed Martin in April 2009. In March 1995, they completed certifications in Convention Management & Services and Front Office Procedure from the American Hotel & Lodging Association.
