Matthias Vervaet

Matthias Vervaet started their career at Aware in 2012 as a Web Developer. Matthias then joined In The Pocket in 2015 and held two roles: Full Stack Engineer and later Cloud Architect. As a Full Stack Engineer, Matthias worked on the Harald beacon platform, which consisted of multiple microservices written in Node. In 2017, Matthias transitioned into the role of Cloud Architect. In 2023, Matthias joined Lighthouse as a Senior DevOps Engineer, and later became the Lead DevOps Engineer.

Matthias Vervaet obtained their Bachelor's degree in Electronica-ICT Afstudeerichting ICT from Katholieke Hogeschool 'Sint-Lieven', Gent, from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they attended Vrij Technisch Instituut Sint-Laurentius, Lokeren, from 2002 to 2008, where they studied Industriële ICT. Additionally, Matthias Vervaet holds a certification as a Cloud Architect from Google, obtained in April 2018.
