Shawn Frisbee

Shawn Frisbee is an accomplished General Manager with extensive experience in the hospitality industry, currently serving at Our Town Hospitality's Doubletree Jacksonville Riverfront Hotel since December 2019. Prior to this role, Shawn held a similar position at Chesapeake Hospitality from June 2001 to December 2019, where notable achievements included overseeing the opening of a hotel that ranked as the number one Sheraton in North America for 19 months. Additionally, Shawn served as President of the North Florida Hotel and Lodging Association from January 2014 to January 2016, advocating for the hospitality community in North Florida. Earlier career experience includes a General Manager role at Winegardner & Hammons Hotel Group, LLC from 1995 to 2001. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Resort Management from the Rochester Institute of Technology and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Hotel/Motel Administration/Management from SUNY Schenectady County Community College.
