Layne Barnum

Layne Barnum has extensive experience in the security and military fields. Layne began their career in 1990 when they enlisted in the Army National Guard as a U.S. Soldier, Military Police 95B, and Counterintelligence Agent 97B. In 1995, they were appointed as the Deputy Superintendent of the Louisiana State Police Support Division. From 2018 to 2021, they were an Adjunct Instructor at The University of Southern Mississippi and Louisiana State University. In 2021, they became the Owner of S3, LLC. Sentry Security Solutions, a Louisiana certified veteran owned consulting and services firm. In 2022, they became the Law Enforcement Liaison for Othram Inc.

Layne Barnum attended the FBI National Academy (FBINA #246) in 2011, where they received Law Enforcement Leadership Development. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor from Louisiana State University in 1994. In addition, they have obtained two certifications: a Certified Coach, Teacher and Speaker from Maxwell Leadership in August 2022, and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from The Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC) in July 2022.
