Niu Haijun

Niu Haijun has been working in the software engineering field since 2001. Niu started at SMIC as a Software Engineer where they created, tested, debugged, documented and implemented engineering data analysis software and customer data deliver software. Niu then moved up to Senior System Architect / IT Manager, where they re-engineered engineering data use systemic and statistic methodology and designed high reliability system structures. In 2017, they joined OTI Lumionics as the Head of Software Engineering, where they lead and manages the company software development team and related project tasks. Niu is responsible for developing large-scale parallel computing applications for material research based on AWS&Azure cloud and self-hosted CPU&GPU nodes, as well as web application development based on python Django.

Niu Haijun earned a Bachelor of Applied Mathematics from the School of Mathematical Sciences at Peking University between 1997 and 2001. Niu then went on to earn a Master of Software Engineering from the School of Software and Microelectronics at Peking University between 2005 and 2008.
